This year marks the 6th year of the Festival of Lights Mendocino holiday light display. What a perfect way for the entire family to share in the holiday spirit with our community. Beyond the beautiful and breathtaking light displays, you’ll also be able to enjoy live music, local wines, beer from the North Coast Brewing Company, holiday treats and a light supper fare.
Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens Annual Festival of Lights opened on Friday, November 27th and will be run until December 20th on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm. If this sounds like your kind of event, then our Mendocino Coast bed and breakfast is the place to stay! Tickets to the Festival of Lights are $10 for adults; while children 16 and under are free. There will be a special guest at this year’s Festival – Santa Claus! The jolly old elf will be listening to wish lists from kids of all ages on November 27th, December 12th, and 18th. In fact, you can personally help keep the Festival free for kids by joining in the Gala on December 3rd. What is the Gala? Well, nothing less than a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to take part in a unique and intimate view of the Gardens, while nibbling on tapas and starters, eating a main course buffet, and gourmet desserts. Best of all, these delectable entrees can be further enhanced while listening to the music of the Mendocino String Quartet.
